LeBron James got another award today, being named to the NBA’s All-Defensive team. This comes as no surprise after finishing second to Dwight Howard as Defensive Player of the Year. Those two are joined by Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, and Kevin Garnett.
This award is well-deserved for LeBron, as it’s been obvious all season that he’s been playing defense at a much higher level than he had earlier in his career. Many people think his experiences over the summer with the Olympic Team, especially being around and playing with Kobe Bryant, led him to increase his focus on playing defense. Hopefully this is the first of many of these awards for LeBron as he certainly has the physical abilities to continue being a dominating defensive player.
He has been GREAT. Wish D-West would have got a lil more love.
